Each application is developed by a project team consisting of developers, software quality engineers, geotechnical engineers and scientists, which makes for a stimulating and informal working environment. Throughout the entire development process of these geomechanical applications, different software applications for quality assurance are being used to verify and ensure the quality level of the Plaxis 2D and 3D software programs. The current main quality assurance tool is a tool for GUI Automation and Testing.
These quality assurance applications are a vital part in any release process of the Plaxis 2D and 3D software packages. Knowledge of the Plaxis 2D and/or 3D software packages is not mandatory.
At Plaxis we are very good at computational geomechanics and focused on developing, arketing and supporting the Plaxis finite element software applications for soil and rock analyses.
Our software is used all over the world by thousands of engineers faced with challenging construction projects (for example foundations of high rise buildings, tunnels, and dikes).
